A Kenyan safari

In September of last year, I joined a tour group in the Kenya national park. We visited its awe-inspiring wildlife and we saw an impressive array of some wild animals and we were nervous about being in close proximity to them. A large lion came up to our minibus and licked the window. Our driver just laughed and said the lion was just offering his car wash services. At Amboseli National Park, we had our first interaction with the Massai people. The villagers were exceptionally friendly and gregarious. On our last day in Amboseli, we entered the performance without any musical instruments and they made the wonderfully intricate music by their voices. And leaped in the air and considered a ritual among the men.
Our next destination was Lake Bogoria, famous for its pink flamingos. We spent an hour watching flamingos take off and land on the shimmering surface of the lake. For lunch, our guide led us to hot springs and geysers to boiled eggs.
After lunch, our guide said that we were going to see the hippopotamus. I surprised because I heard that they can be very dangerous especially if the female hippos feel that their infants are being threatened. After 15 minutes we saw male hippos. But he didn't seem like the sound of the cameras and started to make some aggressive noises and our guide tued our boats back.
We ate dinner at a little restaurant, while we're eating two mighty African warriors came in and asked for soda!
That was an amazing and unforgettable trip for me!
